girls gone wild...

well, they were wild about their christmas gifts that i gave them this year. monogrammed scarves. from loli and the bean (one of my FAVORITE stores in tallahassee). the scarves are knit jersey and so cute! and they match the cute monday night dinner girls who each received one as a gift last night.

i was so excited on sunday because the three greene girls lit the advent candle at church. they were so cute. it was the candle of peace. and they started out asking why three sisters who had to share one bathroom were given the candle of peace to light... good question.

they managed to not set the entire church on fire. so proud of them. so glad they are a vital part of our church and of our family. i can’t believe that i have know meghan for almost 10 years.

and so proud of erin. or edub as we all call her. she rocks it out on the praise team every week. and most importantly when she makes eye contact with me, she starts to laugh and sometimes can’t stop. she doesn’t make eye contact with me often. but sometimes she can’t help it. we should sit farther back to help with this... but it is more fun to torture her and sit up front.

and then sunday afternoon i went to millie’s steel drum concert. it was PAN-tastic (a little steel drum humor there). i love that she has chosen to continue to play the steel drums even though she knew NOBODY else doing it at leon. it is her favorite class (because there is no homework and no tests). and she is learning so much about music. she has never considered herself very musical but the steel drums may change that for her.

so it was a sunday full of girls gone wild... girls who i know and love and who know me and love me anyway.
