dina and deaver are here, they are taking total care of my house, my family, my kids, my sanity! karen flew home and then will come back on friday. she was here for the last three nights of mama’s life and spent those nights in hospice with her. i am such a good hostess, she hardly slept in a bed here at the house!
dina is busy all day watching my sister’s kids all day (see how busy she is, i put all day twice because those are some long days), as well as entertaining us all night, and deaver has washed, mopped, cleaned, folded, answered the phone, door, and organized my house into a veritable wonderland that i hardly recognize.
there are no words for friends like these three (the two pictured and karen back sleeping in her own bed for a night or two). and if there were words, well, i couldn’t spell them, i’m still really tired.
there are friends, and then there are these gals. this goes way beyond the call of friendship and into something epic... something dare i say it, of Biblical proportions.... from those long chapters in the Bible where you really haven’t read it all really well, the sticky pages...
