witting.lea

"witting" is the present participle of "wit". "lea" is my name. together they make "witting.lea". the word wittingly defined is...

1. Aware or conscious of something.

2. Done intentionally or with premeditation; deliberate.

3. Information obtained and passed on; news.

may all the content found here live up to that definition...

midsummer daze...

July 22, 2010

and they have been dreamy. evening biking at the park. lots of time with friends. sleeping late, staying up late, eating at all kinds of weird hours. i just love it all.

i mean, i am usually a schedule lover. i get so much done with a schedule. but every now and then... i love to throw all those day planner out the window. for a week or two.

for midsummer madness.

which is where we are right now. smack dab in the midsummer madness of it all...

this week has been full of appointments, packing kids for camp (crestridge for the girls and ridgecrest for the boy). we leave right after sarah and jeffrey’s wedding saturday night and drive through the night (UGH) so the kids can check in on sunday morning. just another marshall memory. an all night road trip. should be scrapbookable.

i have been working on some wedding things for sarah and jeffrey. programs and some other fun projects. i will show you those next week. after they receive rave reviews at the nuptial event. and you know they will receive rave reviews.

i have also been sniffing the sharpie fumes as i label every stitch of clothing that my children own so i can pack them up for camp.

got to go and get ready for our 5 house guests coming in for the wedding. for those who do math... that is 9 people using our hallway bathroom (the one the kids and i share). that is going to make for some fun scrapbookable moments too.

at least that means extra hands to help with the cutting, stapling (for the programs and other sundry items), and packing and car stuffing (for the kids leaving for camp).

so say a prayer... for the wedding. for our small house and small bathroom to suffice for our house guests. for our trip to north carolina under the cover of darkness. for the kids at camp. for adam’s and my 10 days at home ALONE WITH NO KIDS.

see you next week!
