well, actually she was “hair” for the weekend... couldn’t you eat up that little faux hawk of curls? believe you me, i tried. that is daphne, my newest baby niece. sister to victoria. the niece who calls me “click click”. and thinks my face has a rectangular black thing in front of it at all times. daughters of my much much younger brother, jeff, and his wife, dean.
i love these babies. and i love how exactly opposite they are. and i can’t wait to watch them grow. because they are going to love me more and more as the years progress. i know they are. and they are going to give my brother fits... and that is right and good. and will be fun to watch.
and one day they will realize that even though they are totally opposite in SO many ways that they do have one thing in common. they love each other (and their aunt lea-lea) a lot. and that sometimes two not of a kind makes for a full house and a lot of fun and learning to forgive and to love in different ways that you ever thought possible. God loves those who are in opposition to him. and sometimes he requires that of us as well.
and sometimes He lets us have faux hawked babies to snuggle with, just because He is good like that...
