let me know take a little break and have you now consider that my blog just started with the opening line “though i am not a huge fan of jungian theories”. don’t you feel like i became wayyyyyy smarter overnight? well, i didn’t. don’t worry.
carl jung’s theories inspired the myers briggs type indicator. which if you take one of the online test will give you a little picture of how you may see things and make decisions. can you tell that i have a daughter who is taking psychology?
so we all took a test online last night. and then started reading the descriptions of our personality.
and here was mine...
ENFJ - "Persuader".
Outstanding leader of groups. Can be aggressive at helping others to be the best that they can be.
2.5% of total population.
outgoing, social, attention seeking, emotional, loving, organized, comfortable around others, involved, open, hyperactive, complimentary, punctual, considerate, altruistic, easily hurt, religious, neat, content, positive, affectionate, image conscious, good at getting people to have fun, easily excited, perfectionist, assertive, ambitious, leader, hard working, touchy, group oriented, anti-tattoos
nah. nothing like me at all. and since only 2.5% of the population is like me, aren’t you incredibly lucky to know me?
and that is the good news. here is the bad news... the only thing adam and i have in common is the letter “j”. sigh. well, 21 years with only a “j” in common. maybe it is working for us...
a fun little diversion indeed. and maybe a little helpful in learning how to communicate with teenagers and husbands who are not always thrilled that mom “the persuader” can get a tad “aggressive at helping others to be the best that they can be”. i don’t know why they can’t see how LUCKY they are to have me as a mom. after all they only had a 2.5% chance to have someone like me in their life...
