the truth will set me free...

miley-cyrus-hannah-montana-movie-poster.jpg

i feel the need to be totally honest with my blog readers...

saturday, i was talking with greene girl #1 on the phone and i happened to mention that i might kind of want to maybe perhaps possibly perchance go and see hannah montana: the movie.

and she said that she might want to go and see that too.

and then because we were totally openly sharing our deepest darkest secrets, we both admitted to a LOVE of miley’s new song, the climb.

and so i convinced/tricked/bribed millie into going with us...

and we decided to dress incognito just so no one would recognize us in the theater. i think we were VERY discreet in our hats and sunglasses....

and if that wasn’t confessional enough for you, here is the BIG acknowledgement...

we LOVED the movie.

rated G and really earning that G rating with totally family friendly fodder and a sweet message and fun music and dance numbers. and near and dear to my heart were miley’s modest clothes. you know how i love my modest dressing teenagers.

and if anyone tells you that they saw me dancing in the theater... well, they might be liars, and they might not be.

and i will say no more on the dancing issue because we have had enough soul cleansing brutal honesty for one day. a good baptist girl can only do so much confessing in one day without needing to attend a “dinner on the grounds”.

but i did happen to see the trailer for the new FAME movie and i can’t wait for that because i sang and danced to my FAME cassette tape soundtrack so many times that i feel like i actually attended that high school. and i can’t wait to take my singing and dancing kids to see that.

especially if they promise to still sit by me if i happen to break out into song and dance DURING the actual movie.

we have more hats and sunglasses for them to use in case of that emergency...
