we have been SO busy these last few days and we are about to head to the library and then to the grocery and then to the beach. all in the pouring rain. no one will ever confuse us with smart people... however they may confuse us with participants in a wet t-shirt contest. hope i win...
anyway i know that you are all waiting with baited breath. so go and brush your teeth to get rid of that baited breath smell and rest assured that the $$ is back on millie’s mall card.
and they gave us an extra $100 for our trouble...
APRIL FOOLS... about the $100, but not about the money being on the card. it was returned sometime before monday morning by magical leprechauns... or by the corporate office. either way, the saga is over. i will need a new saga.
and we have yet to take the cookies to forever 21. they have been in a cute container on the counter since saturday when i made them with a sweet note taped to the top. and we have not had the time to make a mall trip. we are so lame.
this sleeping late thing is EXCELLENT. but it doesn’t allow me as much time in my day as i need to get everything done. plus three kids home all day, we seem to find a million things to do. and a million mario kart driving routes on the wii... let me repeat, we are so lame...
however we have gotten a ton of others errands run. and maxx’s room cleaned out and rearranged (i LOVE to rearrange furniture). and we have been on a search for cheap men’s cowboy boots (size 9) and cowboy hat for the oklahoma play in april at the middle school. just try to find cheap cowboy boots and hat in the spring... i dare you... and if someone accepts that dare, then get the boots in a size 9. and bring them to my house for maxx to wear in the play. and you will get major props...
and i had to take someone to get her learner’s permit. and darn it, she passed that test on the first try.
so one day i might have to let her drive.
but not in the rain today...
