i know that my life is SOOOOO exciting, what with sobbing on the bathroom floor and all those other really riveting events...
but every now and then, i do get to do something really neat.
like help my friend jennifer throw a little investiture reception for her hubby newly appointed justice charles canady.
and by help, i mean stand around and watch jennifer work some catering magic and cook copious amounts of food almost single handedly while i make nice cute food place cards. really, i have only a few talents. handwriting happens to be one of them. using capital letters, is not...
look at all the yummy food! and do you see that lovely hand written food card... how excellent! there were 4 tables FILLED with food and 2 for beverages!
and look who else showed up for the event... the pittman clan. yes, they are almost as important as me... the shrimp table took a big hit from the pittman boys...
and then we tried to get the family canady’s christmas card photo. i am partial to the silly photo... but i don’t think a supreme court justice gets to send out a “silly photo”. that is why i am glad that adam isn’t a supreme court justice...
and speaking of christmas cards... ours is in process, it should go out by the end of this week. Lord willin’ and no one named marshall is asked to be on the supreme court....
